Microsoft Windows 10 is one of the hottest stuffs lately. Even myself is very interested to know more and want to try it. How to get full version of Windows 10 for free? Yes, this is the very first time that Microsoft is giving out free Windows upgrade to all users (full version, not trial or introductory version). You should get notification to upgrade to Windows 10 by now or in coming days if you own genuine Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 devices. Windows Phone 8.1 devices later this year. Note – you have until July 29, 2016 to take advantage of this free upgrade offer. Once upgraded, you will have Windows 10 for free on that particular device. Isn’t that great?
How to get Windows 10 for free? First of all, you need to have Windows 7 (Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate) or Windows 8 (Normal, Pro and Pro for Students). As long as your PC, laptop or tablet has these versions, you can reserve free Windows 10 upgrade now in the Get Windows 10 app. Don’t have this app, no worry, just use Windows Update to install any available updates could fix this issue. However, I do not like this way and did not use this way to upgrade mine. Download Windows 10 ISO directly here. Then create your own installation media using either a USB flash drive or a DVD. Or just mount the ISO file with virtual drive and install Windows 10 from there (which I did). No need to wait for upgrade notification and install Windows 10 directly.
