Package Contents
There is FUEL+ Mobile Rechargeable Battery, Micro USB cable and owners manual in the package. The Micro USB cable is about 28cm long which is easier to carry around and charge your devices. Do take note that there is no AC adapter bundle along. But you can use back your device’s one to do so since it supports power pass through.

Design
Patriot FUEL+ Mobile Rechargeable Battery not only looks nice. Its build quality is great too. It has glossy white cover on top with matte red body. 9000mAh model is 2cm wider and 57g heavier than 6000mAh model and still pocketable. In return, it has 50% more battery capacity. Both have the same charging rate performance. Therefore, physical size, weight and battery capacity are the factors to determine which model to choose.
Performance Results
I have several devices to test out both Patriot FUEL+ 6000 and 9000 mAh Mobile Rechargeable Battery. Here are the devices with their battery capacity – Nexus 4 (2100mAh), Galaxy S4 (2600mAh), Nexus 7 2013 (3950mAh) and iPad 3 (11,560mAh). 9000mAh model is best for all devices including large tablet while 6000mAh model is suitable for small tablet and smaller devices. It is easy to use FUEL+. Just press the power button to check battery’s charge status. LED indicator shows how much charge is available – 1 LED for 25%, 2 for 50% and so on. To charge devices, just connect USB cable between FUEL+ and device. Then press power button to start charging. Be sure to use faster charging 2.5A for large tablet and newer smartphone. FUEL+ itself supports fast self-charging as well. It takes 3 hours and 15 minutes to fully charge 6000mAh model while 4 hours and 45 minutes for 9000mAh model from empty stage with 2A AC charger. And don’t forget that it supports power pass through technology to simultaneously charge both FUEL+ and your devices from one power source.
Patriot FUEL+ 2.5A charging rate is fast. It performs the same as stock AC adapter (it won’t go faster due to limited by the device itself). Both models have more than enough battery to fully charge Nexus 4, Galaxy S4 and Nexus 7 (2013). For 6000mAh cell, it can charge Nexus 4 for 2.2 times, Galaxy S4 for 1.8 times and Nexus 7 (2013) for 1.2 times. As for 9000mAh battery, it can charge Nexus 4 for 3.3 times, Galaxy S4 for 2.7 times and Nexus 7 (2013) for 1.8 times. As for large battery size iPad 3, only manage to get 40% recharge for 6000mAh and 60% for 9000mAh cell. For 2 devices charging, 6000mAh battery manages to fully charge Nexus 4 and 80% of Nexus 7 (2013). And 9000mAh manages to fully charge both of course. Same apply to Galaxy S4 and Nexus 7 (2013) combo.
