1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Wi-Fi.
3. Click on Menu.
4. Then Advanced.
5. Check Best Wi-Fi Performance ~ May consume more power.
6. That’s all.

By the way, you may want to disable Auto-disconnect ~ Switch to another Wi-Fi network or mobile network when data transmission is weak. This will help to avoid 3G data usage (which cost money if not on unlimited data plan) when Wi-Fi signal is weak.
