Want to use PlayStation 3 DualShock 3 Wireless Controller on Samsung Galaxy S III? Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and above support Bluetooth game controller natively. However, I am facing problem to pair DualShock 3 Wireless Controller with Samsung Galaxy S3. Failed to pair due to PIN issue. Luckily, there is a way to make PS3 DualShock 3 Wireless Controller to work on Samsung Galaxy S3 with Sixaxis Controller application. Note – root access is required.
How to use DualShock 3 Wireless Controller on Samsung Galaxy S3?
First of all, download Sixaxis Controller (link) from Google Play Store. Install it. Then follow online instruction from Dancing Pixel Studios website. Basically, you need to use SixaxisPairTool to set your phones Bluetooth address to DualShock 3 Wireless Controller. Then use Sixaxis Controller to pair them. Enable Gamepad mode in Preferences – Gamepad Settings. Change IME to Sixaxis Controller for those games which don’t support native controller. That’s all.
You should be able to play Android games with DualShock 3 Wireless Controller on Samsung Galaxy S3 just like I do. Enjoy…
