will i be able to use kies to sync with my outlook contact? I’ve tried the nexus from other rom cooker but my kies stop working after i change the rom.

any way i can sync my contact from outlook besides kies? love to try the new 4.0.4 but if i can’t sync with my outlook, it’s a bummer.

Sometime back, I used Odin to upgrade my firmware from 2.3.3 to 2.3.6 and now Samsung is making ICS updates available in India.
Am i still eligible to get this OTA? Or did that firmware upgrade via Odin break my validity?

and there were quite a lot of phones in india that shipped oyt of the box with 2.3.6, which is why i upgraded to 2.3.6.. does it mean it was official?

XWKK2 is not India firmware. But no worry, you can install India official ICS firmware XWLP7 with Odin directly.

It does not care what ROM you are using. It just need CWM to install.

There is no official Android 4.0.4 firmware for SGS2 yet. Only unofficial one.
Please consult Samsung Support on Wi-Fi issue.

Jayce: I’m using ICS 4.0.3 stock firmware rooted in my galaxy S2, and I wanna try this ROM with CWM but I can’t install it, does exist another way to instal it like ODIN, or what could be the mistake, I’m following the instructions in your video and nothing, it says aborted.
I downloaded on a MacBook and unzipped by it self but I’m compressing again to zip and copying the to theinternal memory and doesn’t work, can u help me please?
Hi Christian, please make sure that your download zip file is not corrupted. And try not to recompress it again. Use the zip directly.

Yes, you will loss your apps and data if you wipe data and cache. So always make a CWM backup first before install new Android ROM.

I have a problem. During the innstallation my phone went black. And now it seems totaly dead. I can not push the on button or any other button. Its non responsive. The battery was fully loaded, it happend 3-4 minutes in the innstallation.
Is there anyting i can do or is it “gone”?

Hi Eirik, try to remove the battery. Put it back after 5 minutes. Then try to load CWM and install Android ROM again.
It still dosent response when i push the “on” button, i tried all button combination. But nothing seems to work.
It dosent do anything when i connect the charger or connect it to my computer. Is there anything that can be done?
